Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods which he makes a difference at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the company's success. Among the most important is the Search API, which powers results on the Search engine result page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work closely with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven functions to the consumer experience, such as search relevancy enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly group that focuses on strong onboarding and continuous assistance. New group members are guided through the ramp-up procedure until they're positive taking complete ownership of their work. Each staff member is valuable to other employee when dealing with obstacles. We value a culture where wins are renowned openly, and setbacks are owned together. We likewise make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep camaraderie strong. Q. What's your greatest achievement up until now at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy of the professional development I have actually accomplished considering that joining Realtor.com as a Software Engineer over 7.5 years ago.
